The annoying bit is that people who have studied the broad field of marketing get buried by people who come up with their own interpretations of a field. This makes everything SO hard. I have to sit down with CEOs who think they know everything there is to know because they watched a video like this. "product Vs marketing". FFS, Product is one of the four Ps of marketing. And because one of these content creators in a million actually makes it, they inspire hundreds of shitty social media content. Everything in the video is ultimately absolutely correct, but nothing that any actual marketing professional would not know. Step 2: gotta understand the audience. Duh. Is that a radical approach? We've been doing consumer research for decades specifically to know about pain points, competition, expectations, etc... Competitive advantage is another classic stable of marketing. Anyone who goes "oh wow! You know what super mega secret I found? Competitive advantage!". Again. I don't have an issue with him nor the content. I have an issue with people not talking about what marketing really is, because if you do marketing simply as it's supposed to be, you'll do good business.

"The truth is that the current version of yourself is incapable of making your dream a reality". Very true, we watch a lot of self improvement podcasts but we don't take an action to really improve ourselves, me included. I think this step is a breaking point.

I like most of what you are saying, but it sounds like the words of a person that hasn’t been in the trenches for a while. Digital presence and how you are perceive is totally a factor, I get what you doing by saying when the client or owner of the business gets stuck on the details a bit too much. But having a person inexperienced in graphic arts make a logo for their company is going to look like exactly that, a inexperienced person that created their own logo. Also, maybe a landing page only if you plan on just doing paid marketing on your website, but if you ever want to have a great organic search engine ranking, you will invest in and build a full fledged website. Even when it’s a single page application, you still have the illusion of a well structured website. I’m not at all saying trying to be a dick, but realistically, maybe you should think, even from your own perspective. So, you are going to choose the home made branded company over the well thought out, intentionally, and professionally branded company? Sure, there’s the aspect that the person with the homemade logo and brand presence might be the person with the skills to pay the bills, but in the modern era where the competition is vast, the last thing you want to do is present yourself as an experienced person. I mean you have literally a few seconds with a client that finds you online to decide whether they will use your services, the major factor is page load speed, but then there’s the immediate determination of whether the site looks professional. The last thing you want to do is present yourself as anything less, especially if you are a badass, authority type of business who knows their shit. Anyways, I just wanted to give my 2 cents, I mean, but what do I know. I’ve just been in the trenches for two decades now. I believe that I have to fix my scaling problem, not my overall school of thought.

What about testing the webinar live first for a year until you are consistent at sales, have at least a 10% conversion through the whole funnel from live webinar to email sequence after, using the live chat to get better at selling seeing where you go wrong and then going automated once its proven? This way you are speaking to larger groups rather than 1 call at a time.
